Seculert Unveils Beta Version of Seculert Swamp at RSA Conference 2013

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Seculert, the cloud-based advanced threat detection company, today announced the beta release of Seculert Swamp, an elastic, cloud-based automated malware analysis service. With this new service, customers can upload potential malicious files directly to Seculert Swamp and allow them to live in a virtual environment where their behavior and evolution will be closely examined over time.

On-premises security solutions have limited capabilities and are unable to detect malicious software, especially advanced malware and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). Seculert Swamp enhances users’ existing on-premises security solutions by allowing them to upload files directly to Seculert’s cloud infrastructure via an API or web portal for immediate analysis.

Seculert Swamp is built on a global elastic cloud infrastructure, allowing customers to cost effectively decide how many samples to analyze in parallel, for how long (minutes, hours or even days) and from which specific geographic region. Once the sample files have been analyzed, customers can choose to receive detection results via the web portal, or an API that automatically integrates the results.
