Fresh on the heels of being named as one of the 100 Coolest Cloud Security Vendors by CRN, it is my pleasure to share that Seculert’s blog has been recognized as one of the 50 Best Cloud Security Blogs of 2015by GetVoIP.

At Seculert, we greatly appreciate this recognition. It validates the long-term vision we have had with our blog since the beginning, which is to provide:

- Insights, updates, and analysis from the experts in Seculert’s Research Lab
- Actionable intelligence and practical advice for enterprises – regardless of whether they are Seculert customers or not
- Information on new Seculert resources, such as white papers, reports, webinars, and more
- Product updates, which include helpful how-to information to help our customers take advantage of new features
Most importantly, our vision ensures that our blog will never turn into a “non-stop marketing and sales campaign for our products.” Seculert was founded by experienced network security experts. As a result, built into the very fabric of our company’s culture is the belief that we have a duty to help strengthen the cyber security community as a whole. The standards and quality we maintain in our blog demonstrate this commitment.
Of course, we are far from the only ones who feel this way. There are many other companies in the cyber security field — including those whose blogs also made the GetVoIP list — that care as much as we do about helping enterprises stay one step ahead of the bad guys. Yes, on one level we are competing. But on a deeper level, we are all in this together.
And that is a good thing, because it is no secret that the cyber threat landscape is getting worse. Bad actors are better funded and equipped than ever before, and the assets and data they aim to steal promise massive pay days. Even with more resources pouring into law enforcement and schools rushing to train the next generation of cyber security engineers, it is without question that the landscape will get worse long before it gets better — if ever.
